The path to success?

So there I was on my honeymoon and while having another fruity rum drink on the upper deck of the ship sunning myself, I came to the conclusion (epiphany) that yes, I do work entirely too hard and have allowed myself to get stressed out over things I can’t control. It was at that time I decided that working myself to the point of exhaustion and max stress for an employer with questionable designs for my advancement was done with.

Marko Ramius once said that "A little revolution now and then is a healthy thing, don't you think?" So in keeping with that sentiment, the Wolf Den has been redone to a bit nicer format and something that makes a bit more sense given its utilization.

How often it will be updated will depend on how often I decide to post something relevant to my life that I decide to share with the rest of the world.

Eventually I hope to have my other “pack” members post here as we discuss all the things that life tosses us, from day to day job stuff, to the more esoteric and interesting.

The photo album isn’t fully up right now as I’m in the process of upgrading it and having my wife kick it so it will import the previous albums and save me the time and hassle of re-updating everything.

For now I’m recovering from a long work week last week, a long weekend looking after one of my dearest friends who was ill, and trying to get over an annoying sinus infection that is keeping me out of the air. But at least I have my techno-toys to keep me amused.

Oh, and for my friends who see this:

Its just me checking up on things… nothing to worry about.

To quote my best friend from a gaming session in college…”I’m a hedge, move along…”

(...and no flicking the nose please...)
