Where's the animated squirrel to rant for me when I need him...

I'm referring to the character "Foamy the Squirrel" from the site illwillpress.com.

I was perusing the news instead of studying like I should have been and stumbled on the following story:

Now, excuse the hell outta me, but WTF right do they have to interfere with this woman's life, and that of her children, after she formally left their organization?

Where the hell do they get off taking it upon themselves to JUDGE someone in their faith when that right was SPECIFICALLY RESERVED BY GOD!!! (Matthew 7:1).  I wonder if they considered Romans 2:3?

Clearly this particular offshoot of Christianity missed a few things in the bible.  I'm all about respecting other peoples paths, as I wish for them to respect my own.  Some people just need to get over themselves.

It is stories such as this one that only confirm that the path I am on and have chosen is the right one for me.

"Be it harm none, Do as thou will".

Blessed Be.

They don't have the right. Not at all. That said, this disciplinary formula IS laid out in the Bible. They are following Scripture, according to them. This is another area were the contradictions in the Bible make for messiness. Wonder if they know this is a "feature" when they enter into membership in the church?

John,
Would love to hear your comments re: the Hudson River crash.
